Ciena’s G10 Achieves Outstanding Reviews

Ciena’s G10 Achieves Outstanding Reviews

May 29, 2016

Ciena® Corporation’s G10 and G10X Ethernet Service Modules were announced earlier this year.

The solutions provide operators with a high performance connection which enables the distribution of services such as Ethernet, broadband aggregation for triple play and IPTV services and 3G wireless backhaul.

Unique features like a single platform which includes optical networking solution with fully integrated Layer 0 C/DWDM transport, Layer 1 OTN switching and sub-wavelength grooming, and Layer 2 Ethernet aggregation and switching – set Ciena® Corporation apart from the competition.

The solutions were ranked as one of the top products in this year’s Broadband Gear Report, which saw them receive 4 out of 5 diamonds, obviously impressing the judges.
