Planning

Members of Parliament do not have any direct control over planning matters in their constituencies, however Tim takes a keen interest in all development plans for South Suffolk and often holds strong views on local planning issues.

During the recent election campaign and after Tim has become aware of possible development plans for East Bergholt.

He shares the concerns of residents that the scale of the mooted development is unacceptable for a village like East Bergholt.

He is in touch with the East Bergholt Society about this issue and hopes to arrange a public meeting later this summer at which the matter can be discussed.
