Interxion announced this week that it has been selected by W-iFi hotspot provider The Cloud to provide colocation services in London and Stockholm.
The Netherlands-based provider of carrier-neutral data centres was chosen by The Cloud to deliver colocation facilities with high-density power configurations.
With 24 data centres across Europe, Interxion provides 5kW per cabinet as standard, as well as direct access to over 500 carriers and ISPs.
It also provides direct access to 15 of Europe’s top Internet exchanges, including LINX in London and NETNOD in Stockholm.
“Interxion’s infrastructure is designed to support the current and future power and connectivity requirements of ambitious service providers like The Cloud,” said Greg McCulloch, Interxion UK managing director.
“We have structured our services across Europe to deliver SLA-driven operational resilience, giving fast-growing customers peace of mind as they scale their services to meet demand.”
The Cloud is Europe’s largest independent provider of Wi-Fi hotspots, serving millions of broadband users across 12 markets.
