BT and Polycom announce conferencing partnership

November 23, 2017

Telecoms group BT has entered into a partnership with Polycom which will see the companies develop conferencing solutions for public sector organisations and enterprises.

In a three-year project the companies will combine Polycom’s voice, video and telepresence solutions with BT’s managed services.

The unified conferencing solutions will be powered by BT’s global multi-protocol label switching network.

Robert Hagerty, chairman, CEO and president of Polycom, said: “The joint solutions we create will enable people to connect and collaborate everywhere.”

The first products are expected by the end of the year.

Polycom recently announced that it has joined the Cisco Developer Network Program.
