Virgin broadband seeks Olympic speed

August 26, 2016

Virgin Media is looking to sign Olympic sprinting ace, Usain Bolt, to advertise its high speed broadband.

The company wants the fastest man in the world to endorse the fastest broadband in Britain, available over its fibre optic network.

If Bolt, 22, comes on board, then bosses at Virgin Media want to rename their fastest broadband product.

50mb broadband will be renamed ‘Boltband’ in the sprinter’s honour.

6ft 5 inch Bolt won gold at the Olympics in the 100m sprint, the 200m sprint and the 4 x 100m relay, breaking the world record in every event.

Virgin Media has a history of using big name celebrities to endorse its products. In the past they have hired Uma Thurman, Samuel L. Jackson and Ruby Wax.
