Converged services for SMEs from Magnet Business

April 8, 2016

Magnet Business, an Irish telecoms and internet provider, has launched a suite of new services, aimed at the SME, that combines voice and internet bundles with a high-end phone system.

Building on its continued investment in next generation technology, the launch of these converged services is Magnet’s first in a range of new products to be introduced, that will enable customers to harness the full potential of the company’s broadband solutions.

Over the next eighteen months, Magnet will launch additional services that will continue to provide a real competitive advantage to Irish businesses, and to their international subsidiaries.

For a fixed monthly fee, customers will be able to run voice and internet traffic over a single uncontended broadband link from Magnet Business. A next generation phone system with all the features and functionality of an enterprise level system, is also being offered as part of the new bundle. This is available either as a fully-managed solution for those companies with limited or no technical resources, or as an on-site option for larger companies.

With speeds of up to 15Mb and a range of competitively-priced voice minutes covering local, national and international calls, Magnet’s offering is expected to lower telephony costs by on average 20% when compared to rival operators.

Magnet Business considers that its new packages compete not only on price and service, but on the provision of a solution that effectively caters for the present and future needs of businesses. They are a demonstration of how high speed broadband can deliver next generation solutions to Irish companies.

The offerings are tailored to individual business requirements and offer the flexibility to change broadband speeds and voice minutes as well as add extensions and lines with minimal disruption. Businesses simply increase the size of their broadband connection, and no additional lines, modems or phone cards are required.

The solutions also address the increasing need for mobility and flexible working by providing remote extensions, allowing businesses to give their customers just one contact number for access.

Prices for Magnet Businesses bundled packages start from €146.80 per month (ex VAT) for 10Meg broadband, three lines and bundled national and mobile calls.
