Tele2 chooses ip.access for indoor network coverage

September 3, 2017

Stockholm-based mobile operator Tele2 has chosen ip.access’s nanoGSM system for its indoor 2G voice and data services.

NanoGSM uses picocell base stations to provide high quality indoor network coverage.

Picocells can be used by business and organisations to create their own low-cost micro-mobile network, or by mobile operators to improve network coverage indoors and in areas of high network traffic.

“We are delighted that Tele2 has chosen ip.access to provide the technology to improve network coverage and capacity levels for the benefit of its customers,” said ip.access spokesperson Jamie Cave.

“Our agreement with Tele2 demonstrates the ongoing demand for our 2G picocell technology worldwide, and underlines ip.access as a market leader and innovator of cellular-over-IP solutions for mobile operators.”
