Timico wins UC contract at Ruddle Merz

June 2, 2017

Telecoms provider Timico has won the contract to provide business surveyor Ruddle Merz with a suite of unified communications (UC) solutions.

Timico has updated Ruddle Merz’s insecure IT infrastructure to a fully secure, flexible, and scalable network.

Solutions provided by Timico include IT support, VoIP, bonded broadband, a fully virtualised network, and virtual storage.

Chris Tombs, Timico chief executive, said: “In these current market conditions, the key is to understand the changing needs of IT departments and budgets.

“The in-house technical expertise and the strong supplier partnerships that Timico has, position us perfectly to rival the larger outsource providers who are simply unable to deliver the personal service necessary.”

Ruddle Merz has grown rapidly in recent years, and opted for Timico to update its IT infrastructure to reflect this growth.

“We needed a business ISP that could provide all of the services we were looking for plus the class of service or quality of service we required,” said Marcus Cole, Ruddle Merz’s IT operations manager.

“Timico has worked extremely hard to make Ruddle Merz a more secure and connected business, with all their solutions having the capacity to grow further if we need them to,” Cole added.

Founded in 2004, Timico provides business ISP and unified communications solutions to the UK business market.
