HTC revenues for early 2016 up 50% compared to early 2015

March 10, 2016

High Tech Computer (HTC) has reported February revenues of NT$9.63 billion (US$313.7 million). This represents a 19.9% decrease compared to the previous month, but a 45.9% increase compared to February 2015. These results conform with market conditions and expectations.

HTC’s total revenue for 2016 now stands at NT$21.66 billion, a 49.4% increase compared to the first two months of 2015.

Having seen HTC give such strong performances for January and February, analysts are now predicting revenues for the first quarter to exceed the originally projected NT$32 billion.

HTC’s revenues are expected to maintain their current strength into the second quarter of 2016 because the company is planning to launch its Diamond smartphone series.
