Grant Thornton chooses Vodafone for mobile broadband

May 12, 2017

Financial services provider Grant Thornton has chosen Vodafone to protect and manage its mobile data network.

Under the terms of the £2 million contract Vodafone will be responsible for enforcing Grant Thornton’s IT policy with over 3,500 mobile employees at the company.

Vodafone will use Vodafone Secure Remote Access (VRSA) to secure Grant Thornton’s mobile network whilst providing high-speed data transmission.

Grant Thornton mobile employees will have ‘one button’ access to a range of networks, including 4G, Wi-Fi, and fixed-line broadband.

Vodafone’s network will keep Grant Thornton’s mobile employees within immediate reach of the international network of independent consultancy and accounting firms that Grant Thornton works with.

“By centralising the management of our mobile network, our staff have another enhanced service delivery tool that further increases our already high client satisfaction,” said Greg Swift, Grant Thornton’s National IS Director.
