September 30, 2016

Timico Group, which provides unified communications products to enterprises, has completed two 1Gb IP connections in preparation for the launch of BT’s 21st century network.

21CN is an end-to-end Internet Protocol-based network which will enable faster and more efficient delivery of converged services.

Timico is now ready to commence trials of customer migrations over to BT’s 21CN link, allowing customers to benefit from its ADSL2+ service which will deliver speeds of up to 24Mb/second.

Chris Tombs, Timico’s chief executive said: “As one of the early connectivity trialists for the BT 21CN, we are delighted that we have completed our pipe in such good time and are confident that soon our customers will be able to benefit from the Timico advanced telephony and IP services that we will be able to deliver via our super fast ADSL2+ broadband connection”.

Timico, which is based in Newark, Nottinghamshire, recently achieved 4th place in the 2016 Sunday Times’ Microsoft Tech Track 100 list, which ranks Britain’s one hundred fastest-growing private technology companies.

The company achieved annual sales growth of over 200% between 2004 and 2015.
