Pay as You Go mobile broadband most popular

November 20, 2017

Broadband Expert, the broadband comparison site, reported that more people chose Pay as You Go (PAYG) mobile broadband than mobile broadband on a contract, in October.

It is the first time that PAYG has been the more popular option.

During October 53% of mobile broadband customers took out PAYG deals compared with 47% who took out a contract.

O2 recently announced that it has cut the price of one of its PAYG mobile broadband dongles to £14.67 for a limited period.

The dongle offers speeds up to 3.6Mbps.
