A strong January for USI, who predict 2016 growth of 30%

United Scientific Industrial (USI) has announced its figures for January, with consolidated revenues of NT$6.09 billion (US$192.34 million), a 20% rise compared to January 2015.

USI is predicting that 2016 revenues will top NT$80 billion, representing a 30% on year growth.

The company’s revenues from computer and component segments, including port replicators, motherboards, Abit and mobile PCs, totalled NT$1.86 billion for January, 31% of total revenues and a 36% on year increase.

Their revenues from communications equipment, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, SiP and ADSL, totalled NT$1.49 billion in January, 24% of total revenues and a 35% on year increase.

Revenues from microelectronics technology and manufacturing totalled NT$1.63 billion in Januray, 27% of revenues and an 8% on year increase.

Industrial and car electronics devices revenues totalled NT$595 million, 10% of total January revenues and a 9% on year decrease.

Internet storage and server revenues totalled NT$519 million in January, 9% of total revenues and a 16% on year increase.
