July 8, 2017

Network operator O2 has signed a partnership agreement with Global Network Enabler Wyless, allowing it to provide additional global connectivity to its business customers.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Following the agreement, O2 business customers can now opt-in to a broad range of reliable and secure M2M connectivity solutions.

Customers can also access Wyless’s SAAS-based management platform, Porthos, giving them real-time visibility and control over their network.

Together with O2, Wyless will continue to offer “GNE in a box”, enabling customers to become a Global Network Enabler without the cost of setting up and managing a global wireless network.

Mike Short, O2 spokesperson, said: “Today more and more businesses are implementing wireless networks and our joint go-to-market approach means we have combined forces to offer the most flexible, reliable and manageable solution, with a global footprint, wide roaming capabilities, and complete network visibility.”
